Day 1

Tuesday 27 October 2026

Kick off the 2026 conference in style at our ACTS 20th birthday celebration. This relaxed evening event is the perfect chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new people and celebrate two decades of collaboration, connection and sustainability leadership across the sector.

Join us for a memorable start to the conference as we raise a glass to 20 years of ACTS and look ahead to the days to come.

Day 2

Wednesday 28 October 2026

Wednesday delivers the conference’s first full day of programming, beginning with keynote speakers (stay tuned for an announcement very soon) who will bring fresh perspectives and set the tone for the conversations ahead.

Across the day, delegates can take part in plenary sessions, concurrent presentations and interactive workshops exploring practical ideas, emerging approaches and real-world sustainability action from across the tertiary sector. With time built in for discussion, networking and reflection, Day 2 is designed to inspire new thinking, strengthen connections and provide valuable insights to take back to your institution.

Day 3

Thursday 29 October 2026

Thursday is the conference’s second full day of programming, offering another rich mix of plenary sessions, concurrent presentations, interactive workshops and opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the sector.

Delegates can explore practical ideas, emerging approaches and real-world examples from across tertiary education, with plenty of time for discussion, networking and reflection. A healthy catered morning tea and lunch will be provided, creating further opportunities to continue conversations and build connections throughout the day.

PLUS! Celebrate the people and projects shaping a more sustainable future at the 2026 Green Gown Australasia Awards, held at the Home of the Arts (HOTA).

Day 4

Friday 30 October 2026

Friday brings the conference to a close with a final plenary, followed by a choice of practical workshops and guided tours that take learning beyond the conference room.

For delegates staying into the afternoon, there will also be an opportunity to take part in a give-back activity as a meaningful way to thank Griffith University and the Gold Coast for hosting us. It’s a chance to finish the conference with connection, reflection and positive action.
