THANK YOU TO OUR CONFERENCE PARTNERS

Host Institution

Griffith University is proud to host the 2026 ACTS Conference at its Gold Coast campus, situated on the lands of the Kombumerri peoples, part of the Yugambeh language region.

Located within the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, the campus is home to a thriving community of students, staff, researchers and industry partners, with sustainability and biodiversity embedded throughout its unique campus environment.

The Gold Coast campus is home to almost 600 plant species and 129 species of wildlife, including 23 threatened plant species and 12 threatened animal species. Remnant swamp paperbark wetlands and endangered blackbutt forest sit alongside more than 10 hectares of native gardens, providing important habitat for species including koalas and Glossy Black Cockatoos.

Conference delegates are encouraged to explore the campus during their visit, including its regionally themed landscapes and Jabreen’s statue, a significant campus feature and sanctuary for native bees.

Nature Partner

Greenfleet is an environmental not-for-profit organisation that has delivered climate action for over 25 years. We are Australia’s first carbon offset provider and protect our climate by restoring native forests.

Greenfleet plants native biodiverse forests in Australia and New Zealand to restore nature and capture carbon emissions on behalf of our supporters.

As they grow, these forests help fight the impacts of climate change, improve soil and water quality, and restore habitat for native wildlife, including many endangered species.

Our partnerships with local communities and Traditional Owners support broad benefits for the country and communities in which we live and work.

COS is Australia’s largest family-owned and operated workplace and education supplies business, proudly led by second-generation sisters Belinda and Amie Lyone as Co-CEOs. Founded in 1977 by the late Dominique Lyone, COS began as a small business with a vision for exceptional service and social responsibility.

Over the past 45 years, COS has grown from a small business to a national operation with over 700 staff and warehouses in every state and territory. Every day, we deliver thousands of products to workplaces and schools across Australia, helping to keep them healthy, safe, and productive.

As a proud family-owned business, COS is committed to giving back. Each year, we donate 1% of annual revenue to the Lyone Foundation, supporting local Australian charities focused on human welfare. Since 2013, we’ve contributed over $26 million to the Lyone Foundation and helped more than 150 life-changing charities.

Reaching Net Zero Operations and 100% Renewable Electricity across all facilities nationwide in 2024 was a significant milestone, with both maintained throughout 2025. Building on this progress, we continue to strengthen our approach to emissions reduction, expanding our measurement and decarbonisation efforts across Scope 3 emissions, including customer deliveries, staff travel, energy, waste and product production.
